Payment & Refund Policy

DMV vision screenings are generally not covered by health insurance, and payment is the responsibility of the customer.

If you do not pass the vision screening, you will not be charged for the screening.

If you miss your scheduled appointment or are unavailable at the scheduled appointment time, 30 Dollar Vision reserves the right to charge a missed appointment fee and/or require you to reschedule your appointment.

Once your vision screening has been successfully completed and the results have been submitted to the New York DMV, all sales are final and no refunds will be issued.

Appointment Requirements & Expectations

Please be prepared and available at your scheduled appointment time. To complete your vision screening, you are responsible for ensuring that:

    •    You have a functioning phone or computer with a camera and microphone, as applicable.

    •    You have a reliable internet connection.

    •    You have approximately 10 feet of clear space available to complete the vision screening.

    •    You have your valid New York driver license readily available during the appointment.

    •    You are in a suitable, well-lit environment where the vision screening can be completed without interruption.

To maintain the quality and integrity of the screening process, 30 Dollar Vision reserves the right to cancel, reschedule, or refuse service when technical difficulties, inaccurate or incomplete information, inappropriate conduct, failure to meet testing requirements, or other unforeseen circumstances prevent the screening from being properly completed.

Communications Consent

By providing your telephone number and/or email address, you consent to receive communications from 30 Dollar Vision regarding your appointment, vision screening, results, service-related updates, and other communications related to your use of our services. Message and data rates may apply where applicable.

Limitation of Liability

30 Dollar Vision provides vision screening services and, when applicable, submits completed screening results through the appropriate New York DMV system.

30 Dollar Vision does not make decisions regarding the issuance, renewal, suspension, or eligibility of your driver license. Any determination regarding your driving privileges or license eligibility is made solely by the New York State Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV).

30 Dollar Vision is not responsible for DMV decisions, delays, system outages, or determinations concerning your driver license, driving privileges, or eligibility.

Changes to These Terms

30 Dollar Vision reserves the right to modify or update these Terms of Service from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page and will include an updated Effective Date.

Your continued use of our services after revised Terms of Service have been posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
